During our day out into the High Atlas Mountains, we will learn firsthand about the lives of local disadvantaged women that are empowered through various local initiatives, such as argan oil, weaving workshops, organic cosmetics, wicker work and baskets and more. We can equally visit a local boarding school where girls from remote villages are given the opportunity to study at the local high school and pursue university careers. We can complement that with a 2- 3 hour trek around the village of Imlil with a local guide. Lunch inside a local’s home can be arranged.
